Kanji, who had come to Tokyo for work, was in love with Satomi, a childhood friend. However, Satomi was attracted to Kanji’s friend. Kanji was still struggling to adjust to life in Tokyo. Everyday, at the advertising agency where he worked, Kanji was chided by his boss and pushed around by his colleague Rika, a free-spirited girl from the US.
To Kanji’s surprise, Rika confesses her love for Kanji. And just when it seemed that the two would become a couple, Kanji sees Satomi?whom he had loved for years?once again.
