Yukiko, who grew up in a poor family, is now an office worker at a food factory. Most people would describe her as plain?that’s what kind of woman Yukiko was. When she goes to pick up her brother at the station one day, she meets by sheer chance Masashi, an heir to a big firm. Yukiko falls in love with the man on the spot.
Yukiko nearly loses hope when she considers how far she is out of Masashi’s class. However, she decides not to give up on her love, as her brother Kikuo encourages her to follow through with her passion.
Meanwhile, Masashi’s younger sister, Hitomi, moves from the family home out of rebellion against her father. Getting to know Kikuo and Yukiko inspires Hitomi to change her ways.
