Kei Enomoto works at a major security firm and is just plain different than everyone else. Within an equipment storage room in the dark depths of the company building, Kei spends his days absorbed in security research. Naturally, his specialty is crime prevention devices, but he’s also well-versed in physics, chemistry, and architecture. His catchphrase is “There are no locks in this world that are uncrackable.” One day, Kei is called upon to solve a locked room murder, and though he has no interest in the crime itself, his expression changes the instant he hears the words “locked room”.
This dramatic series overturns the usual mystery conventions and dares to specialize only in “locked room cases.” The series is an adaptation of Yusuke Kishi’s novel of the same name and is done in the speedy solved-in-one-episode style.
