Kouya, a private tutor, comes to the Numata house to help their underachieving youngest child, Shigeyuki, with his studies. On his homepage, the tutor guarantees that his students will get into the prestigious Tokyo University. After getting an earful of the parents’ expectations, Kouya has an interview with Shigeyuki. The tutor’s job, first and foremost, is getting their truant son to go back to school. He sets to work on the task immediately, but his methods are eccentric to say the least. As the Numata family gradually begins to crumble, the smiling Kouya is there to take on the new challenge. But what’s the true identity of the enigmatic tutor? And what is his aim?
