Minami is a so-called CM planner (persons who thinks up ideas for TV commercials) who works hard for a major advertising firm. She considers work to be a means to earn her daily bread and love to be a “supplement to her diet” as she works with a will. She’s a typical workaholic who pours her soul into her work, and stakes everything on creating 15-second TV commercials while her private life takes a back seat. Although she’s got all the necessary “weapons” to make a kill, including the latest fashions and makeup skills and the fancy goods, she’s still missing that essential element of “cuteness” that will make men fall for her. Then, one day, Yuya Ishida (Kazuya Kamenashi) starts working part-time in the same department as a chore boy. He’s younger than her, a bit irreverent and fresh in his attitude, with no interest in advertising whatsoever, but somehow attractive in his own way.
Minami is in contact with all different types of men around her and sees how all sorts of women live their lives. This stirs up her feelings about work and love. This drama depicts the love you can expect beyond the work, which happens in the working place where everyone has the common value of work.
