Chiaki Yoshino is 45 years old this year (and single). Her friends talk about nothing but their health and getting older. The life she leads is completely different from the future she dreamed of when she was young, a harmonious balance between work and family. Chiaki buys a house in Kamakura while continuing to work in Tokyo at a TV station. Wahei Nagakura, on the other hand, is a 50-year-old widower and the eldest of four siblings, though he’s been the de facto parent since their mother and father passed away when they were children. Wahei works at the Kamakura tourism bureau, but only thinks about his family, while Chiaki is solely devoted to her work. When the two of them meet, they find love in the former ancient capital.
