General Affairs Department 2 (GA-2) is a gloomy section of a company composed of workers who are ripe to be laid off. All of the company’s workers live in fear of being branded as “useless” by the company and relegated to that one room. Shiori is an Olympic hopeful for the pole-vaulting event and her entrance into the company was met with great fanfare (and advertising). However, after a series of poor performances, she was transferred to the GA-2 backwater. But it is there that Shiori meets Chinatsu, the legendary woman who saved the company ten years prior, as well as other quirky female employees.
Power Office Girls 2013 is a sequel to the huge hit comedy series that previously aired in 1998, 2000, and 2002. Each episode is a complete, rollicking good time of a story and the series is recommended as this season’s best comedy-drama for the whole family to enjoy.
