The story is set in a shared office and shared house in Tokyo and develops around five young people.

The protagonist, Riko, is a university student who belongs to a bouldering club. She’s hung up on “Shu-chan,” an older boy who used to live in her neighborhood, and cannot face new romantic prospects.
Riko’s best friend, Yoshino takes good care of her, and treats her to home cooking every day. Also in the same club is there clumsy but earnest friend, Arata. He’s majoring in sociology, while doing part time work at a consulting firm.
The three of them spend their days chatting together. However, Yoshino secretly starts to develop feelings for Arata, while Arata develops feelings for Riko, and Riko is still hung up on her first love… They find themselves in a fruitless love triangle.

One day, at Arata’s referral, Riko heads to a job interview at a shared office. It’s there that Riko catches a glimpse of a man and a woman kissing. As she’s still in shock, the company president introduces her to the two of them: Midoriko, who runs a photography agency, and her trusted photographer, Shuji. He was none other than Riko’s first love.
Through her encounters with many different kinds of people, Riko grows as a person and discovers her dream. And after having met her first love Shuji again, a rival emerges in the form of Midoriko, leading to a complicated love pentagon.
