In the legal community, where dark suits are the norm, Kohei is considered strange because of his appearance: brown hair, jeans and a parka. The young, unorthodox prosecutor has just been transferred to Tokyo from a rural prosecutors’ office. But it isn’t just Kohei’s appearance that is unorthodox, so is his history: Kohei dropped out of high school, later earned his diploma, and then passed the bar exam. One after another, he cracks difficult cases with his sharp, bold ideas. Although his colleagues at his new workplace first find Kohei to be an outsider, the jaded bunch gradually come to feel inspired by his genuine attitude toward justice.
Through their clashes, Kohei’s deputy secretary Maiko slowly feels an attraction to the unorthodox prosecutor.
This drama series follows Kohei and Maiko as they take a stand against the wrongs of society, as well as the developing relationship between the two.
