After 13 years, Takuya Kimura’s hit drama, HERO, returns to TV in a new series!
The series HERO is an ensemble drama that focuses on maverick prosecutor Kohei Kuryu (Takuya KIMURA) and the other colorful members of the Josai Bueau of the Tokyo Public Prosecutor’s Office. The original drama series made history with record-breaking ratings back in 2001. The TV drama special in ’06 and movie version in ’07 were both popular. And now, seven years later, Kuryu returns to the Josai Bureau!
Kuryu’s policy is “No crime is too big or small”. Even with a minor crime, he won’t prosecute unless the case is taken seriously and it’s confirmed beyond a doubt that a crime was in fact committed. And he steadfastly sticks to the rule that an innocent person must never be put on trial while the real criminal escapes. If he has suspicions, Kuryu investigates at the scene of the crime. Though unconventional, prosecutor Kohei Kuryu ties together this story that’s full of the milk of human kindness.
