A young surgeon rekindles romantic feelings in a doctor who thought she had given up on love.
All of the doctors at a certain university hospital bear their own secrets while dealing with various fomenting desires such as the rat race to the top, romance, adultery, and love triangles in this fusion of the medical genre and romance genre called a “medical love story”.
Haruki, a kind man who only thinks of saving patients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. He also has a strong sense of justice and is repelled by the university hospital’s system of putting profits and power first. Haruki puts work before love but is so busy at work that he’s forgotten how to love. In fact, he took a posting at the university hospital just so he could improve his skills as a surgeon, but found the place to be a morass of diverse desires.
There, Haruki meets and gradually becomes attracted to an older surgeon, Chizuru, who is so buried in her work.
There’s also anesthesiologist Nana, a single mother who aggressively takes the initiative in relationships with men; surgeon Sotaro, who sees Haruki as a rival.
A collection of talented actors has been cast to portray these quirky, intriguing characters.
