Here’s a human drama depicting the working woman in the portrait of crack lawyer Takako Mamiya (played by Yuki Amami), who coolly solves the various troubles occurring between men and women, including divorce, palimony, public acknowledgement of offspring, parental authority, inheritance, etc. Part 1 of the series was aired in the spring of 2004 and was followed by a two-hour special in January 2005. Part 2 depicts the private lives of the different cast members, including Takako’s love story. Viewing this drama, we experience how legal affairs and proceedings are not a distant world but something that we or family members or friends could be confronted with at any time.
