This drama tells the story of how difficult it is to judge love and relationships in legal terms, posing the question about what true justice and what the family is in a very human story.
The public relations lawyer Takako quits her job at a topflight law firm to go independent. But then she finds that her work and her staff are being obstructed by the law firm that she previously belonged to. Although she makes every effort to gather together an outstanding staff, what she ends up with is a college student who’s almost a newcomer to legal affairs, a receptionist who’s hoping to marry into money, a lawyer who’s more like a hardnosed businessman, and a paralegal (office staff) who hasn’t passed the bar exam yet.
Takako is forced now with this makeshift law office to take on cases concerning real-life people, including divorce cases. This former elite lawyer finds herself clashing with employees and clients. In the midst of struggles and tribulations, she develops into an outstanding lawyer.
