To save a club from shutting down, a middle-aged salaryman becomes the leader of a university’s cheering squad!
Asunaro University’s cheering squad is in danger of shutting down because of a lack of members. As a last-ditch measure to save the club, the head of the alumni association has one of his employees enroll at the university and then become captain of the squad. Selected for this duty is Daisuke Fujimaki, formerly a candidate for being laid off.
Daisuke is tossed into this unknown world that demands absolute obedience to upperclassmen and the constant wearing of the school uniform. He learns the philosophy of cheering through the passionate leadership of a younger, hard-nosed alum and develops a friendship that goes beyond generational lines with the young members of the cheering squad.
