This is the touching story of a father who is diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease and his young daughter who tirelessly supports him.

After the death of his wife, Keisuke Kinoshita has been living alone with his young daughter. He’s a skilled craftsman at a small metalworking factory as well as the coach for a boys’ baseball team. The cheerful Keisuke and his daughter have been living a humble but happy existence together, until their lives are shaken up when Keisuke suddenly shows symptoms of early-onset Alzheimer’s disease. He’s always protected his young daughter, while even after her mother’s death, she’s believed that things would be all right as long as she was with her father. Now they’re both put through an ordeal.

What can the father leave behind for his daughter? What can the daughter impart to her father? This show depicts the strong bond between a father and daughter, how they face a harsh reality, and strive to overcome it.
