The 2nd season of the hit social drama that adults can also enjoy. The female detective, who unraveled the mystery behind unsolved cases in the first season, now goes undercover to resolve bigger cases.
There is a major personnel shuffle within the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, and Izumi Sakura is transferred from the “Unsolved Case Special Investigation Department” to the “Special Crime Investigation Department.” There she must hide　her true identity and go on undercover investigations to find out information relating to her cases by getting closer to the people involved. Struggling to adapt to her new role and to the new covert style of investigation, she nevertheless throws herself into solving cases. Meanwhile, a series of suspicious fatal accidents caused by defective products from various companies has been occurring. Suspecting that it might be corporate blackmail, Izumi starts out on her investigation.
This is the sequel to the police drama that got high-level ratings when it was first broadcast in spring, 2010. The reality with which the undercover investigation is depicted will have the viewers glued to their screens.
