A dismembered body of a teacher was found at a junior high school. A boy named Kobayashi is a student at this school. One day, Kobayashi meets a genius detective named Akechi who was visiting the school for investigation of this mutation murder case. Apperently Akechi only investigates bizarre ritualistic crime cases. Intrigued by such fact, Kobayashi volunteers to be Akechi’s assistant despite his friend Hashiba’s worries. Now Kobayashi finds himself involved in a series of mysterious events, putting those mundane, boring days behind him…
