Next Spring, will we be able to be ourselves?
Takumi Harada is a teenager pitcher with an outstanding sense for baseball. After moving to the town of Nitta in the mountains for middle school, Takumi meets Go Nagakura, a catcher who can catch even his most powerful pitches. The two boys join Nitta East Middle School’s baseball team, but come up against friction with their teammates and find themselves at the mercy of their teacher’s adult problems. On top of that, they sometimes clash with each other. Still, this pitcher and catcher duo, the “Battery”, grow because of those challenges.
